I've been obsessed with decoration and travel since I was young and this is my space to talk all about those things and more.

In March of 2016, after years of bad experiences renting, my husband Carlos and I made a VERY spontaneous decision to buy a house. 

 

We put our goal into the universe and it quickly became true.  After only a week living with my parents, we found a realtor and after our first day of visiting houses, we found the one (of course we had some help from Zillow in finding it).  We closed in late June 2016 and spontaneously decided to renovate our kitchen, which turned into a renovation of our master bathroom as well as all the floors in the bathrooms and kitchens and removing a wall!  Crazy I know, but worth it. 

 

We moved in at the end of July 2016 and have been loving our little home ever since.  Home ownership definitely has it's ups and downs but it has made me more of a homebody than ever before.

We live in Northern Virginia with our two mini-schnauzers pups, Rocky and Max.  

​

My passions include yoga, going outside with my pups as much as possible, the beach, wander-lusting about exciting new travel destinations, snowboarding, reading and of course, decorating our first house.
